Dr Mödder in an internationally recognized expert in radiosynovectomy, having trained in nuclear medicine as well as pharmacology, neurosurgery and radiology. He was appointed Prof. Dr. med. at Cologne-Marsdorf in 1981, and in 1991 he developed a specialized center for treating arthritis patients using radiosynovectomy. Dr Mödder has treated thousands of patients using radiosynovectomy, authored more than 100 scientific publications, and given many hundreds of lectures on the topic.
